Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Reutov experimental prosthetics factory" Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia

The history began on the 1st of January 1945, with the foundation of a prosthetic-orthopedic workshop in the town of Reutov where a military hospital was located during the Great Patriotic War.
Before 1960 the workshop was engaged in complex prosthetics, representing at the same time the facilities of the Central Research Institute for Prosthetics (CRIP). Later it was reorganized into a factory of serial production of prosthetic-orthopedic semi-products.
Today the federal state unitary enterprise "Reutov experimental prosthetics factory" to the Federal Agency on Public Health Services and Social Development (Roszdrav) is the largest in Russia and in the UIS factory of specialized prosthetics manufacturing prosthetic-orthopedic products, one of the leading enterprises of the Central Service of Orthopedic Aid to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Russian Federation.
In recent years the range of products manufactured by the factory has considerably widened. The assortment of rehabilitation devices released by the prosthetic factory is vast indeed.
These are nonmetal semi-products for upper and lower limb prostheses, silicone mammary gland exoprostheses, or theses of the utmost readiness, embedded orthopedic correction devices and safety covers, massage mats, rollers, head holders, antibedsore mattresses and seat-cushions, corset bandages, orthopedic insoles and correction devices of standard foam material and silicone (a great number of models, individual design for orthopedic insoles and posture correction devices adjustable to a patient's individual differences).

The experience accumulated by the enterprise is put into practice in the interest of women having undergone mastectomy.
For more precise reconstitution of the ablated organ's shape, mass, for aesthetic perception of coupling with adjoining tissues as well as for preservation of women's attractiveness there are 23 types of silicone mammary gland exoprostheses designed and produced by the factory.
While providing prosthetics the individual approach is achieved due to correct matching of silicone exoprostheses which fit in form and size.
The range of artificial feet increases with every year.
New designing's of artificial feet have improved function performance due to the application of carbon-filled and glass-filled plastics as well as thermoelastolayers.
The factory produces silicone covers for lower limb prosthetics. The covers are designed in order to provide comfort, relief of the most sensitive bone stump and cicatricial stump and fastening the prosthesis to the stump.
Proper pressure distribution, high degree of shock absorption and fixation by means of a special lock represent big advantages in providing prosthetics for patients even in complicated cases.
Among the diversity of small-scale orthopedic devices prevails a wide range of arch support insoles and correction devices for different types of flat foot and various foot defects, large assortment of prophylactic massage products and head holders.
Antibedsore mattresses and seat-cushions occupy particular place among rehabilitation devices.
The seat-cushion and the mattress are intended for patients with musculoskeletal and nervous system dysfunction so as to obtain even pressure distribution and prevent bedsore.
The factory experts apply the most advanced technologies for manufacturing products of rubber (including silicone rubber), injection molded plastic, pvc, latex, simple and complex polyurethane and various silicone compositions to carry out the output and sale of competitive high-quality products.
The quality of all the articles manufactured by the prosthetics factory is confirmed by the corresponding the Roszdrav conformance certificates, registration certificates, sanitary and epidemiological inspection reports, licenses and sanitary characteristics of the products.
The prosthetics factory permanently develops, participating in international and Russian specialized exhibitions where its production constantly attracts consumers' attention. It is documented by patents, medals and awards.

Reutov experimental prosthetics factory is awarded for the high standards of its products represented on the 34th international exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products, April 5-9 2006, Geneva, Switzerland.

In the course of last two years our enterprise has been working out our quality management system according to the SSS R ISO 9001-2000 requirements.

During this period we optimized the control system providing constant improvement of the setup of all the processes.

Every employee of our enterprise realizes: to keep the Customer satisfied the quality of our production must be the foreground task for us.

On the 8th of August 2008 the conformance certificate was awarded to our factory. We are ready to demonstrate the steadiness of our products' high quality to customers.
